TBMM Başkanı Kurtulmuş, görüşmede Türkiye ve Cezayir'in dost ve kardeş iki ülke olduğunu, Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan ile Cezayir Cumhurbaşkanı Abdulmecid Tebbun arasındaki görüşmelerin, halklar arasındaki tarihi bağların, ikili ilişkilerin ve işbirliklerinin her alanda gelişmesine katkı sağladığını ifade etti. Cezayir'in BM Güvenlik Konseyi geçici üyeliği döneminde Filistin davasına ve bölgesel barışa katkı sunmak için gösterdiği çabaları takdirle karşıladıklarını belirten Kurtulmuş, Cezayir'in Filistin'i Destekleyen Parlamentolar Grubuna verdiği destek dolayısıyla da teşekkür etti. Kurtulmuş, Filistin'i Destekleyen Parlamentolar Grubunun genişlemesinden memnuniyet duyduklarını ifade ederek Filistin davasına daha somut ve açık destek verilmesinin önemine işaret etti. TBMM Başkanı Kurtulmuş, PAB 152'nci Genel Kurulu için İstanbul'da bulunan Botsvana Ulusal Meclis Başkanı Dithapelo Lefoko Keorapetse ile de görüşme yaptı.
