İletişim Başkanlığı, bu adımla Hugging Face üzerinde içerik paylaşan ilk kamu kurumu oldu. Başkanlığın Hugging Face platformundaki ilk paylaşımı Dezenformasyonla Mücadele Merkezi tarafından hazırlanan dezenformasyon bültenlerinden oluşan kapsamlı bir açık veri seti oldu. Yaklaşık 2 bin 810 doğrulanmış iddia kaydından oluşan bu veri seti, deprem, seçim, göç ve ekonomi gibi geniş bir konu yelpazesinde sosyal medyada yayılan asılsız iddiaları ve resmi doğrulamalarını içeriyor. Türkçe ve İngilizce dillerinde araştırmacıların, gazetecilerin ve yapay zeka geliştiricilerinin kullanımına sunulan veri setinin, Türkçe dezenformasyon tespiti yapan yapay zeka modellerinin geliştirilmesine ve akademik çalışmalara önemli katkılar sağlaması hedefleniyor. Bu hamleyle İletişim Başkanlığının dezenformasyonla mücadeledeki kurumsal birikimi uluslararası açık veri ekosistemine kazandırılırken, Türkiye'nin yapay zeka vizyonu diğer ülkelerin kamu kurumları için bir model olarak öne çıkmış oldu. İletişim Başkanlığının açık veri ve yapay zeka ekosistemine yönelik bu yenilikçi adımı, Silikon Vadisi'nde örnek uygulama olarak gösterildi. Hugging Face Kurucu Ortağı ve CEO'su Clement Delangue, ABD merkezli X şirketinin sosyal medya platformundaki hesabından İletişim Başkanlığının duyurusunu alıntılayarak küresel çapta bir çağrı yayımladı. Delangue paylaşımında, kamu kurumlarının yapay zeka teknolojilerine entegrasyonunun önemine dikkati çekerek, "Daha fazla hükümet ve kamu kurumu Hugging Face'i ve genel olarak açık kaynaklı yapay zekayı kullanmalı.
