Ukrayna krizinin çözüm sürecine değinen Peskov, "Zelenskiy'nin, çatışmaların durdurulması ve kapsamlı barış müzakerelerin yapılması için Ukrayna Silahlı Kuvvetlerine saldırıları durdurma ve Donbas'tan, Rus topraklarından çekilme emri vermesi gerekiyor. O anda ateşkes yürürlüğe girecek ve taraflar sakin şekilde müzakerelere başlayabilecek. Müzakereler zor olacak ve birçok önemli unsuru içerecek." diye konuştu. Peskov, ABD ile bu konuda sürekli temas halinde olduklarını kaydederek, "Ukrayna tarafı ile de bilgi alışverişi devam ediyor." dedi. Rusya'nın, ABD ile Kuzey Akım 2 doğal gaz boru hattı konusunda işbirliği yapması ihtimalini değerlendiren Peskov, ABD ile işbirliği yapabilecekleri çok sayıda proje olduğunu söyledi.
