Buna göre, nisan ayı itibarıyla Türkiye'de kredi kartı sayısı 147,6 milyona, banka kartı sayısı 216 milyona, ön ödemeli kart sayısı 98,4 milyona yükseldi. Nisanda geçen yılın aynı dönemine göre kredi kartı sayısında yüzde 11'lik, banka kartında yüzde 2'lik artış olurken ön ödemeli kart sayısı yüzde 3 geriledi. Toplam kart sayısı ise yüzde 4 artarak 462 milyon oldu. Kredi kartları, banka kartları ve ön ödemeli kartlarla nisanda yapılan ödemelerin toplam tutarı yıllık bazda yüzde 44 artarak 2 trilyon 559,6 milyar lira oldu. Bu ödemelerin 2 trilyon 185,2 milyar lirası kredi kartları, 366,8 milyar lirası banka kartları, 7,6 milyar lirası ise ön ödemeli kartlarla yapıldı. Aynı dönemde ödeme tutarı ise kredi kartlarında yüzde 44, banka kartlarında yüzde 48 artarken ön ödemeli kartlarda yüzde 60 geriledi. Kartlarla yapılan ödeme sayısı yüzde 14 artarak 1,8 milyara yükseldi. Bunun 1 milyar 59,7 milyonunu kredi kartları, 740,5 milyonunu banka kartları, 32 milyonunu ön ödemeli kartlar oluşturdu. Geçen ay internetten yapılan kartlı ödemelerin tutarı yıllık bazda yüzde 39 artarak 756,9 milyar liraya ulaştı. İnternetten yapılan kartlı ödemelerin toplam ödemeler içindeki payı yüzde 30 oldu. Aynı dönemde, internetten kartlı ödemeler yüzde 11 artarak 249,2 milyona yükseldi. İnternetten yapılan kartlı ödemelerin toplam içindeki payı yüzde 14 olarak kayıtlara geçti. Kartlarla yapılan temassız ödeme sayısı yüzde 16 artarak 1 milyar 233,7 milyon oldu. Temassız ödeme tutarı ise yüzde 51 artarak 855 milyar liraya yükseldi. Nisan ayında mağaza içi yapılan her 5 kartlı ödemeden 4'ü temassız gerçekleşti.
