yapan Necmettin Bekçi, AA muhabirine, evinin okula yakın olduğunu ve izinli olduğu için evde olduğunu söyledi. Silah sesleri üzerine balkona çıktığını ve öğrencilerin okuldan kaçtıklarını gördüğünü ifade eden Bekçi, "Gerçekten dün çok zor bir gün geçirdik. Şu an konuşurken bile kelimeler boğazıma düğümleniyor. Çok zor anlar yaşadım orada. Balkona çıktığımda çocuklar pencerelerden, tellerden atlıyorlardı, kapılardan kaçmaya çalışıyorlardı. 'Eyvah okula girdiler.' dedim. O anda evden nasıl çıktığımı bilmiyorum. Evim dördüncü kat ancak aşağı nasıl indiğimi hatırlamıyorum." diye konuştu. Saldırıda ölenlere rahmet, yaralananlara şifa dileyen Bekçi, okula kantin tarafından girdiğini dile getirerek, şunları anlattı: "Merdivenlerden çıktığımda iki öğretmenimiz ve bir kantinci ağabeyimiz orada şahsa müdahale ediyordu. O anda ben de onlara hemen destek oldum. Elini arkadan tutup dizlerimle üzerine çökmesini sağladım. Daha sonra kalkmaya çalıştı. Öğrenci olduğunu bugün öğrendik, çünkü beden olarak büyük biriydi. Öğrenci olduğu kimin aklına gelir? Ben bir terör eylemi diye düşündüm. Üzerinde bomba olabileceğini düşündüm, kalkmaya çalışınca acaba üzerindeki bir şeyi mi patlatacak diye düşündüm. O an için bizi de patlatabilirdi. Sonrasında güvenlik güçlerimiz geldi. Biz ona teslim ettik. Hatta teslim ederken 'affet beni, affet beni' diye bağırıyordu. Güvenlik güçlerimiz aldı, sınıfa çektiler." Daha sonra okuldaki 2 çocuğunu aramaya başladığını belirten Bekçi, şöyle devam etti: "6. sınıfa giden oğlum Alperen'in sınıfına gittim. Çantası sıranın üzerindeydi. 'İyi kaçmış.' dedim. Tekrar aşağı indim. Alt katta da ana sınıfına giden kızım vardı. Öğretmenimiz de tabureleri kenara çekmiş. Çocukları taburelerin altına yerleştirmiş, çocukları oraya saklamıştı. Kızımı aldım çıktım. Daha sonra oğlumu aramaya devam ettim. Dışarıdan 'Alperen'i bulduk.' diye haber geldi. O arada tuvalette, lavaboda çocuklar vardı. Kızıma 'Siz burada bekleyin, çıkmayın.' dedim. Sonrasında çocukları çıkarttık. Emniyet güçlerimiz gelince biz binadan tamamen ayrıldık." Kızıyla okuldan çıktıktan sonra oğlunu bulduğunu ve yaşananları sorduğunu aktaran Bekçi, "Oğlum silah seslerini duyunca tuvalete saklanarak kurtulmuş. Bir süre sonra da bir öğretmenin, tuvalete gelip 'Çıkabilirsiniz çocuklar.' dediğini öğrendim. Bunun üzerine çocuklar binayı terk etmiş. Oğlum tuvalete saklandığında da kapıyı kilitlemiş." ifadelerini kullandı. Bekçi, "Yaptıklarınızla daha fazla çocuğun kurtulmasına vesile olduğunuzu düşünüyor musunuz?" sorusuna, "Bilemiyoruz, o an için tekrar devam eder miydi, yoksa biter miydi? Yaptığımız müdahale gerçekten faydalı oldu mu bilmiyorum ama umarım işe yaramıştır. Ben kendi çocuğum olduğu için gitmedim oraya. Kendi çocuklarım olmasa yine de giderdim. Durum böyle yani. Oradaki tüm çocuklar bizim. Kimsenin canına bir şey olmasın. Onlar bizim geleceğimiz neticede." yanıtını verdi. Gençlik ve Spor Bakanı Osman Aşkın Bak'ın kendisini arayarak tebrik ettiğini vurgulayan Bekçi, sözlerini şöyle tamamladı: "Sayın Bakan'ımıza ve il müdürümüze çok teşekkür ediyorum. Çok destek oldular. Ayrıca ismini sayamayacağım çok sayıda telefon geldi, desteklerini sundular. Ben de hepsine ayrı ayrı teşekkür ediyorum. Şu an konuşacak çok kelime de bulamıyorum aslında. Psikolojimiz de daha yerinde değil açıkçası. Hatta Aile ve Sosyal Hizmetler İl Müdürlüğünü aradım ve psikolojik destek istedim. Sağ olsunlar yardımcı olacaklarını söylediler. Allah böyle şeylerin tekrarını yaşatmasın. Bugün yaşansa yine aynı şeyi yaparım çünkü okullarda bir sürü vatan evladı var, vatan kahramanı var. Her yerde benim gibi vatan evladı var, kim olsa orada aynı şeyi yapardı."
