Paymix-3 operasyonuyla aylık yaklaşık 3 milyar ABD doları işlem hacmine ulaşan, kripto varlıklar ve paravan şirketler üzerinden kurulan "kirli mekanizmanın" çökertildiğini bildirdi. Gürlek, NSosyal hesabından yaptığı paylaşımda, Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan'ın liderliğinde Adalet ve İçişleri Bakanlıklarının güçlü koordinasyonu ve eşgüdümlü çalışmalarıyla, sanal kumar ve kara para trafiğinin küresel ağlarının bir bir deşifre edildiğini belirtti. Bu kapsamda İstanbul Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı koordinesinde, İstanbul İl Jandarma Komutanlığıyla "Paymix-3" operasyonunun düzenlendiğini aktaran Gürlek, şunları kaydetti: "Paymix-3 operasyonuyla, organize suç örgütlerine siber dünyada tarihi bir darbe indirilmiştir. Aylık yaklaşık 3 milyar ABD doları işlem hacmine ulaşan, kripto varlıklar ve paravan şirketler üzerinden kurulan kirli mekanizma adalet teşkilatımızın ve kahraman jandarmamızın titiz takibiyle çökertilmiştir. Bu operasyonla 49 yasa dışı bahis sitesinin teknik altyapısı hedef alınarak sunucuları devre dışı bırakılmış, sistemlerde tutulan 15 milyon kullanıcı verisi ve 1200 internet uzantısına yönelik siber damarlar kesilmiştir. Yurt içi ve yurt dışı bağlantılı toplam 38 şüpheli hedef alınarak, suç gelirleriyle finanse edilen şirketlere TMSF kayyım olarak atanmıştır."
