açıklamada, 17 Nisan 2025'te İstanbul Havalimanı'nda başlayan eş zamanlı üçlü bağımsız pist operasyonları hakkında bilgi verdi. Türkiye'nin, söz konusu pist operasyonunu Avrupa'da uygulayan ilk ülke olduğuna dikkati çeken Uraloğlu, bu operasyonun başarılı bir şekilde uygulanmasının Avrupa havacılığı için dönüm noktası olduğunu ve bunun Devlet Hava Meydanları İşletmesi (DHMİ) Genel Müdürlüğü hava trafik kontrolörlerinin disiplinini, yenilikçiliğini, ekip çalışmasını ve tüm proje ortaklarının koordineli çabasını yansıttığı ifade etti. Uraloğlu, üçlü pist operasyonunun İstanbul Havalimanı'nın genel kapasitesini artırmada önemli bir kilometre taşı olduğunu vurgulayarak, şu değerlendirmede bulundu: "Operasyon, yoğun saatlerde trafiği yönetmede yüksek esneklik ve verimlilik sağladı. Bunun sonucu olarak 29 Kasım 2025'te 1 saatte 78 iniş, 2 Temmuz 2025'te ise 1 saatte 81 kalkışı başarıyla gerçekleştirerek rekorlara imza attık. 78 inişe ilişkin analizlerimizde ise iniş başına ortalama yaklaşık 40 deniz mili mesafe tasarrufu sağlandığını ve uçuş mesafelerinde yüzde 21 iyileşme gerçekleştiğini tespit ettik." Üçlü pist kullanımının sağladığı tasarrufa da dikkati çeken Uraloğlu, tipik bir dar gövdeli uçak üzerinden yapılan hesaplamalara göre yaklaşma aşamasında sağlanan yaklaşık 30 deniz mili mesafe kısalmasının uçuş başına ortalama 352 kilogram yakıt tasarrufu ve 1112 kilogram karbondioksit emisyon azalımı sağladığına işaret etti. Uraloğlu, "Bu kazanımlar yıllık bazda yaklaşık 50 bin ton karbon salımının önlenmesi anlamına geliyor. Bu da yaklaşık 2,2 milyon ağacın yıllık karbon tutma kapasitesine eşdeğer bir çevresel fayda demek." ifadelerini kullandı. Üçlü pist operasyonlarının yalnızca havadaki kazanımlarla sınırlı kalmadığını, yer hareketlerinde de önemli verimlilik sağladığını belirten Uraloğlu, uçakları kapılarına en yakın pistlere yönlendirerek taksi sürelerini ciddi şekilde azalttıkları bilgisini verdi. Bakan Uraloğlu, şunları kaydetti: "Yapılan analizler, iniş yapan uçaklarda taksi sürelerinin ortalama yüzde 10,2, kalkışlarda ise yüzde 2,8 oranında kısaldığını, buna bağlı olarak yakıt tüketiminde yüzde 6,6 ile yüzde 14,4 arasında düşüş sağlandığını gösteriyor. Bu iyileşmeler zamanında performans oranına da yansıdı. İstanbul Havalimanı, 2025'te yüzde 80,72 zamanında performans oranına ulaştı. Bu oran, yüzde 71,2 olan Avrupa ortalamasının oldukça üzerinde. Üçlü pist operasyonları, İstanbul Havalimanı'nın '2053 Net Sıfır Emisyon Hedefi' açısından da önemli bir rol üstlendi. Hem havada kat edilen mesafeyi hem de yerdeki taksi sürelerini azaltarak yalnızca kapasiteyi artırmakla kalmıyor, aynı zamanda karbon emisyonlarını da sistematik şekilde düşürüyoruz. Tasarruf edilen her deniz mili, sürdürülebilir havacılık hedeflerimize atılmış somut bir adım anlamına geliyor."
