ordusu Gazze Şeridi’nin kuzeyindeki Beyt Lahiya beldesinde Filistinlilerin bulunduğu bir toplanma alanını hedef aldı. Gazze kentinin batısındaki Şifa Hastanesi’nden bir yetkili AA muhabirine yaptığı açıklamada, saldırı sonucu 3’ü çocuk 5 kişinin naaşının hastaneye ulaştırıldığını, çok sayıda yaralının da tedavi altına alındığını ifade etti. Yaralılar arasında durumu ağır olanların bulunduğu belirtildi. Görgü tanıklarından alınan bilgiye göre İsrail’e ait insansız hava aracı (İHA), bölgede yer alan Kassam Camisi avlusunda toplanan Filistinlileri hedef aldı. Saldırı sonrası ambulanslar yaralıları ve hayatını kaybedenleri Şifa Hastanesi’ne sevk etti. Söz konusu saldırı, 10 Ekim 2025’ten bu yana yürürlükte olan ateşkes anlaşmasının İsrail tarafından ihlali kapsamında gerçekleşti. Gazze’deki hükümetin medya ofisi, 14 Nisan’da yaptığı açıklamada, İsrail’in ateşkes anlaşmasını ihlal ederek öldürme, gözaltı, kuşatma ve aç bırakmayı da içeren 2 bin 400 ihlal gerçekleştirdiğini duyurmuştu. Gazze Sağlık Bakanlığı verilerine göre, ateşkes ihlalleri sonucu 786 Filistinli hayatını kaybederken 2 bin 217 kişi yaralandı. Ateşkes anlaşmasına, İsrail’in 8 Ekim 2023’te başlattığı ve geniş yıkıma yol açan saldırılarının ardından varılmıştı. Saldırılarda 72 binden fazla Filistinli hayatını kaybetti, 172 bini aşkın kişi yaralandı, altyapının yaklaşık yüzde 90’ı tahrip oldu.
