Ara tatil, Ramazan, Nevruz ve Paskalya bayramları dönemini iyi geçirdiklerini dile getiren Kavaloğlu, mevcut jeopolitik ortama rağmen nisanda dirençli performans sergilendiğini belirtti. Kavaloğlu, turizmde asıl hareketliliğin Kurban Bayramı tatilinde olmasını beklediklerini vurgulayarak, "Bayram için martın sonuna kadar olan erken rezervasyon kampanyaları nisanın sonuna kadar uzadı. Dolayısıyla bunu değerlendirebilirler." dedi. Peş peşe gelen bayramlar nedeniyle martın üçüncü, dördüncü ve nisan ayının ilk haftasını hareketli geçirdiklerini aktaran Kavaloğlu, "Asıl hareketli sezonun orada başlamasını bekliyorduk ama jeopolitik gelişmeler bu durumu değiştirdi. Dolayısıyla Paskalya sonrası Kurban Bayramı'na kadar zor bir dönem geçireceğimizi düşünüyorum." diye konuştu. Kavaloğlu, Kurban Bayramı tatili itibarıyla turizmde asıl hareketliliğin başlayacağını belirterek, mayısın yoğun geçmesini beklediklerini ifade etti. Kurban Bayramı ile Hristiyanların Pfingsten bayramlarının aynı döneme denk geldiğine işaret eden Kavaloğlu, şunları kaydetti: "Bu dönem, Almanların da tatil dönemine denk geliyor. Bu dönemde turizmde yüksek sezonun başlayacağını, sezonun gerçek anlamda açılacağını düşünüyorum. Bunu büyük umutla bekliyoruz. Kurban Bayramı tatilinde otellerin yoğun doluluk geçireceğini görüyoruz. Özellikle Avrupalı Türkler, Avrupa'da yaşayanlar, hem Pfingsten hem de Kurban Bayramı tatilinden faydalanacak. Almanya'daki Türkler, iki bayram tatili fırsatı yakalayacak. Dolayısıyla Kurban Bayramı'nda çok yoğun bir dönem geçireceğiz. Rezervasyonlar da bunu gösteriyor. O döneme hem Avrupa'daki Türklerden hem iç pazardan hem de yurt dışından aynı anda çok ciddi rezervasyon alırız. İnşallah mayısın üçüncü haftasını oteller yüzde 100 doluluklara yakın geçirecek."
