alan Hatay'ın yöresel lezzetlerinden tepsi kebabı, abugannuş, mahulta çorbası, yoğurtlu kebap, sarma içi-kısır, haydari ve haytalı Türk Patent ve Marka Kurumunca coğrafi işaret olarak tescillendi. Valiliğin girişimiyle coğrafi işaret belgesi verilen ürünler, Antakya Gastronomi Çarşısı'nda düzenlenen programla tanıtıldı. Vali Mustafa Masatlı burada yaptığı konuşmada, kadim tarihi, eşsiz kültürü ve zengin mutfağıyla Hatay'ın hem Türkiye'nin hem de dünyanın önde gelen şehirleri arasında yer aldığını söyledi. Masatlı, 6 Şubat 2023'te 25 olan coğrafi işaret tescilli ürün sayısının bugün 64'e yükseldiğini belirterek, "Coğrafi işaret sayısında 24'üncü sıradaydık, şu an Türkiye 3'üncüyüz, 56 coğrafi işaretimiz de tescil bekliyor." dedi. Masatlı, tescillenen yeni ürünlerin ülkeye hayırlı olmasını diledi. Hatay'ı her yanı ve yönüyle marka şehir yapma yolunda çalışmalarını sürdürdüklerini kaydeden Masatlı, "Hatay artık 6 Şubat'tan sonra yeni Hatay oluyor. Yeni Hatay da, Türkiye'nin en güzel şehirlerinden bir tanesi, dünyanın da güzel ve marka şehirlerinden birisi olma yönünde emin adımlarla ilerliyor." diye konuştu. Konuşmaların ardından İl Planlama ve Koordinasyon Müdürü Mustafa Örgüt, coğrafi işaret belgelerini Vali Masatlı ve diğer protokol üyelerine takdim etti.
