أعلنت بلدية الكويت اليوم الخميس عن تسخير كافة إمكاناتها من آليات ومعدات في إسناد الجهات الحكومية المعنية في التعامل مع تجمعات مياه الأمطار في سحب المياه إثر حالة تقلبات الطقس التي تشهدها البلاد.

وقالت إدارة العلاقات العامة بالبلدية في بيان صحفي إن عملية المساندة شملت إزالة جذوع الأشجار لتسهيل حركة السير في الشوارع والطرق الرئيسية وتوفير آليات سحب المياه (تناكر) إلى جانب توفير مكابس لرفع المخلفات في الطرق والشوارع فضلا عن توفير مضخات مياه في جميع المحافظات.

وأضافت أن فرق البلدية الميدانية قامت بسحب عدد كبير من تجمعات مياه الأمطار منذ يوم أمس الاربعاء واليوم الخميس.
