أعلن الأسطول الخامس الأمريكي إصابة أحد أفرادها على متن حاملة الطائرات “أبراهام لينكولن” أثناء عمليات طيران في بحر العرب.

وأكد الأسطول الخامس في بيان اليوم الخميس أن الإصابة غير ناتجة عن عمل قتالي، ولا تشكل خطرا على حياة المصاب، مشيرة إلى أنه تم نقل البحار إلى اليابسة لتلقي الرعاية الطبية اللازمة وحالته مستقرة حاليا.

وأضاف البيان أن مجموعة حاملة الطائرات “يو إس إس أبراهام لينكولن” ستواصل مهامها لدعم عملية “إبيك فيوري”.
يذكر أن “أبراهام لينكولن” هي ثاني حاملة طائرات تنشر في الشرق الأوسط مطلع هذا العام.
